Ricketts Glen harbors Glens Natural Area, a National Natural Landmark. Take the Falls Trail and explore the Glens, which boasts a series of wild, free-flowing waterfalls, each cascading through rock-strewn clefts in this ancient hillside. The 94-foot Ganoga Falls is the highest of 22 named waterfalls. Old growth timber and diverse wildlife add to the scenic area. Ricketts Glen State Park is one of the most scenic areas in Pennsylvania. This large park is comprised of 13,050 acres in Luzerne, Sullivan and Columbia counties.

The Eagles Mere Air Museum is located at Merritt Field (4PN7), a private airport about 2 1/2 miles east of Eagles Mere, Pa. (17731) on Pa. State Route #42. The museum houses a living collection of airplanes, airplane engines, and related toys and artifacts from the golden age of flying—1908 to 1935. There are approximately 20 airplanes currently located at the field and several more in restoration nearby. Virtually all of the museum’s collection flies regularly.
Located in Sonestown, Pennsylvania, the Endless Mountains War Memorial Museum offers visitors the chance to see first-hand one of the largest collections of personal artifacts from five separate conflicts in United States history, spanning more than two hundred years.
The Museum houses an extensive collection of documents and records related to the history of Sullivan County and its residents. Visitors are welcome to peruse these holdings during Museum hours, or by appointment.
The Artisan Alpaca farm, run by Ray and Deb DiBono, is a lot of fun to visit. From their website:
